The ISN's Forefronts Symposium on Renal and Extrarenal Regulation of
Potassium, September 8-11, 2005, Kartause Ittingen, Switzerland, will
provide an overview of the present state of knowledge of potassium
metabolism, focusing on the structure and function of potassium transport
proteins, genetic aspects of transport lesions, and on the mechanism
underlying disturbances of renal potassium transport.
